This is an Aluminum Frame Plate or U bolt Plate for securing items to the Frame of your Trailer. This is a 3/8" thick aluminum plate with Slotted 1/2" Holes drilled for either U Bolts or Bolts. For exact measurements, you can refer to the photos with this listing. This Plate accommodates 3 1/2 inch Wide and 4 1/2 winch wide U bolts. Additionally, this aluminum frame plate is commonly used to secure the boat trailers tongue into the I Beam frame using 1/2" Bolts.You can use this Plate to secure any item on your trailer where its measurements work and you need a securing strap for 1/2" Diameter U bolts.
This item is not to be used as a Leaf Spring Shackle, as its intention is to secure items, not support the suspension system of a trailer.
