3/8 Inch Aluminum Spacer Frame Plate for Boat Trailers

This is an Aluminum Frame Plate, commonly used to secure the Tongue of the trailer within the I-Beam of your Boat or Jet Ski Trailer. The most common way to install this Frame Plate is by using 1/2 Inch Diameter Bolts. To avoid corrosion due to dissimilar metals, Stainless Steel hardware is recommended during installation, but any 1/2 Inch Diameter Bolt will do. Due to the nature of Aluminum Material, Rust or Corrosion will not be a factor while using this Frame Strap. Being that Aluminum is a soft metal, this Tie Plate can be easily cut down or drilled to fit a number of different applications. This Tie Strap has an overall length of 11 Inches. The 3/8 Inch thick material makes this a great Heavy Duty option if you are looking to beef up your Frame Plates, and features 1/2 Inch diameter pre-drilled holes that are 6 1/2 Inches apart on center.
