Upgrade your existing Leaf-Spring Style Boat Trailer Axle, or replace a broken/damaged Torsion Axle on your Jet Ski Trailer with this High-Quality Torsion Axle Assembly made by Autoflex-Knott!
The Autoflex-Knott Torsion Axle is rated to 1,500lbs capacity, making it great for smaller boat trailers or jet ski/pwc trailers, and the axle comes with Galvanized 5 Lug Idler hubs pre-installed and pre-greased with lithium based hi temp grease. The bearings inside the hubs are 44649 bearings (Both inner and outer bearings are the same) which measure 1 1/6" inch inner diameter, and the grease seal size is 1.25" inner diameter. The Hub Studs are standard 1/2" Diameter and are in a 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern.
This Trailer Torsion Axle Measures 53 inches at the hub face (outside of hub to the outside of the other hub) and is designed to fit a 46 inch wide trailer frame. The Torsion arms are installed at a 30 degree down starting angle, and the greaseable spindles feature 2-hole brake flanges (2 7/8" center to center) so you can install hydraulic disc or drum brakes to your trailer.
This Model Torsion Axle typically would use 4.80 x 12, 5.30 x 12, or ST145 R12 Trailer Tires depending upon the trailer. However, this jet ski torsion axle sku is not compatible with 18x8.5x8 or 20.5x8x10 trailer tire and wheel sizes.

This Torsion Axle Comes with a Mounting Bracket for Each Side, however, it does not include mounting hardware. The Mounting hardware required to install the torsion axle to your trailer frame depends your trailer frame size. You can use through bolts for I Beam, U Bolts for I beam or channel or tubing, as well as longer Straight Bolts with the included Brackets for mounting to Channel, I beam or tubing.
New Mounting Holes May need to be drilled in order to install the new axle.
These Axles can be used on Continental Boat Trailers, Magic Tilt Trailers, Loadrite Trailers, Karavan Trailers, Loadmaster Trailers, Float On Trailers, and many others. However, the most common Boat Trailer this sku is used on is Karavan Boat Trailers.
