This is a hydraulic trailer surge actuator breakaway cable assembly, sized to fit a selection of actuators manufactured by Demco. The breakaway cable is an important part of the braking system on your boat or land trailer, as it allows the surge actuator to pump hydraulic fluid and activate the brakes on your trailer in the event that it becomes disconnected from your tow vehicle. This cable is sized to fit Demco model DA10, DA16, DA20, and DA91 surge brake actuators, and is compatible with both disc brake and drum brake surge actuators. The cable measures 44 inches overall, and has a cable thickness of 3/32 inches, and has an S-hook to attach to your truck's hitch.
