Tie Plates are used for Securing items and other parts to the frame of your trailer. This Tie Plate Measures 6 1/2" in Overall length, and is made of 1/4" thick Aluminum, so it's great for use with Stainless Steel Bolts and U Bolts on Saltwater or Freshwater Boat Trailers.
The Bolt Hole Diameter on this Boat Trailer Tie Plate measure 7/16" in diameter. These plates are not intended for use as a Leaf Spring Shackle. A common use for Tie Plates like this one would be mounting a trailer tongue to an aluminum I Beam Trailer, though you could use this tie plate to secure parts anywhere on your trailer where the measurements of this plate would work for that.
