This 2,000 lb BT8 trailer weld-in spindle fits 4 lug or 5 lug trailer hubs with 1-inch inner diameter bearing combinations and has a weld butt surface diameter of 1 1/2 inches. This spindle fits the 44643 1-inch inner diameter bearing and has a seal surface of 1 1/4 inches. The spindle has a square 1 1/2 inch diameter weld-in butt end, so you will commonly see this spindle used to replace a damaged or missing spindle on a round tubed light duty axle. This spindle does not have a greaseable Accu-lube fitting, so you will likely want to use a 1.98 Stainless Steel Bearing Buddy with your hubs to ensure that you have a uniformly and consistently greased hub for safe operation. If you need to replace a spindle on your trailer axle that uses 1 inch inner diameter trailer bearings this spindle will get you back on the road in no time!
