This stainless steel u bolt plate is great for both light duty and heavy duty boat trailers. The standard axle u bolt plates are hot dipped galvanized - we took it a step further to provide this stainless steel version. Utilizing the same bolt holes to accommodate ½ inch diameter u bolts to mount to 2 x 2 and 2 x 3 galvanized boat trailer axles, this U bolt plate will replace your rusted galvanized version, or purchase this as a kit through our stainless steel U-bolt kit listings for a complete rebuild. One set of holes are 2” apart (for the trailer axle) and the other set is 1 ¾” apart (for the leaf springs).
