This is a corrosion resistant zinc-plated right-hand (passenger side) boat trailer disc brake caliper manufactured by Knott, designed for use with 5 lug and 6 lug trailer disc brake kits. This style of caliper can be seen used with both slip-on and integral style disc brake rotors, and is compatible with both 10 inch 5 bolt rotors and 12 inch 6 bolt rotors. The Caliper Comes Pre-Loaded with Pads already installed, and features Stainless Steel Brake Pad Guides, a Hard Chrome Plated Piston, and stainless Steel Anti Rattle Clips for quiet trailering and braking. This style of trailer brake caliper is not interchangeable with calipers made by Kodiak, DeeMaxx, or other brands that use the same style of brake caliper. These will instead be more akin to the DB-35 caliper manufactured by Dexter or formerly made by UFP; both the calipers and their pads are compatible with one another. Like the DB-35 brakes, you will not need a caliper bracket to mount these Knott brakes to your axle; they will instead bolt directly to your trailer's 4 hole brake flange using two UFP Style Trailer Disc Brake Caliper Mounting Bolts (not included with the caliper, but we do have them available as an add-on above). If you are replacing your trailer's calipers you will want to double check and confirm that you have the same style of caliper as these to ensure proper fitment. This righthand hydraulic disc brake caliper by Knott is a great replacement for 3,500 lb to 6,000 lb capacity trailer axles with compatible disc brake setups!
