Keep your boat trailer stopping safely and reliably with this complete 12 inch 6-bolt trailer disc brake kit from Knott. This kit features corrosion-resistant zinc-plated and coated components for long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion, built to withstand the rigors of marine saltwater environments. This is Knott’s Integral set, meaning the hub and rotor are cast together as one piece, eliminating the need for an idler hub. Since they are machined together, it minimizes rotor runout and ensures a smoother ride. The hub features a 6 on 5 ½” bolt pattern and uses Inner Bearing 25580 (1 3/4" ID) and Outer Bearing 15123 (1 1/4" ID). Every component is built to handle harsh conditions, and the kit includes everything you need for a full brake replacement, including two 6-lug on 5.5" integral rotors with bearings and seals, two disc brake calipers, replacement dust caps and spindle hardware, and mounting hardware. Unlike some other kits such as those made by DeeMaxx and Kodiak, these Knott calipers bolt directly to your axle’s brake flange, offering a design similar to those from UFP or Dexter, like their DB-35 brakes. This kit is designed for standard 6,000 lb trailer axles with 1 3/4" by 1 1/4" tapered spindles and uses standard 6 lug rotor/hub parts such as 2.441" dust caps.
