This is a heavy-duty 2-inch wide trailer hook slipper leaf spring for 8,000 lb capacity axles. The leaf spring uses 6 thick leafs and measures 29 1/2 inches from center eye to end of the slipper. Each Spring is rated at 4,000 lb capacity to achieve the pair capacity of 8,000lbs. You would use a pair of these springs on an 8,000 lb 8 lug trailer axle, which are typically seen with 2" x 3" square or 3" round axle tubing. This would typically be on a heavy-duty utility trailer, RV trailer, cargo trailer, or livestock trailer.

If you notice that your leaf springs have become worn or corroded, it would be ideal to replace them in pairs. This is to ensure that your trailer's ride height is uniform on both sides. Make sure you are hauling all of your loads safely, and pick up a pair of these springs if you have broken or flattened out hook slipper springs on your heavy-duty trailer!
