This is a Hot Dipped Galvanized U-bolt measuring 1/2" x 3 1/16" x 4 5/16", Used to hold on various brackets on boat and utility trailers. Includes galvanized nuts, lock washers, and flat washers. This Size U-Bolt is most commonly see to mount either Bunk Brackets to a 3 inch by 3 inch cross member or to mount a 3 inch by 3 inch cross member to an I-Beam trailer Frame.

Inside Length: 4 5/16 inches

This U-Bolt size is the most commonly used boat trailer U-Bolt. The most common tubing that this U-Bolt would mount around would be 3" x 3" tubing. For example, using this U-Bolt with the Galvanized Vertical Bunk Brackets L Type or Swivel Top Boat Trailer Bunk Brackets would allow you to mount your bunk brackets to your trailers cross-member. In addition, this size U-Bolt would mount your Boat Trailer front V-Guide or Galvanized Boat Trailer Roller Brackets to your trailers cross-members.

U-Bolt review

First rate hardware. Legs parallel at precise dimension. Nuts spin right on. Galvanized finish seems nice and heavy. They should hold up well.

I got these to mount a winch post to my 3"x3" trailer tongue. They were fine, the only snag was that on one of the U-bolts the threads were a little messed up. At first I didn't think it was going to work, but by carefully putting on the nut and threading it down a little, then removing it, and repeating, I was able to get through the messed up threads and it's on there fine now. Maybe should have just gotten stainless for that, I don't know. But all is good.

U-Bolt

This is my first time order and was what I needed for a project that I am working on. This part as well as 2 other sets of parts that I ordered was delivered faster than I was expecting.
