This 73 inch hub face Galvanized Torsion Axle Assembly assembly by Knott comes completely assembled with 5 lug Galvanized Hubs, ready to mount to trailers with 60 inch wide frames. This is a fantastic replacement option if you are looking to replace an old rusted out axle, or converting your leaf spring axle setup to a torsion axle. We've included all the measurements below, but the most important measurement is your Galvanized or Aluminum I-Beam Frame width from outside to outside, and the Trailer Axle Hub Face Measurement.

Torsion Arm Axles feature rubber chords inside the axle which gives the trailer the suspension it needs. These rubber cords do not rust as leaf springs do, so they last much longer in marine environments. Additionally, this is the only Boat Trailer Torsion Axle on the market with a fully Hot-Dipped Galvanized Torsion Arm, making it great for freshwater boat trailers and the best Galvanized Axle for saltwater trailers. This V-Bend Axle features Posi-Lube Spindles to simplify bearing maintenance, and a drain hole at the bottom of the V-Bend to purge any water that gets into the tubing, helping to prevent rust and corrosion.
This Torsion Axle ships directly to your door with the Hot-Dipped Galvanized 5 bolt Hubs and 1.98 inch Greaseable Dust Caps already installed on the 20 degree down angled torsion arms. The hub studs are 1/2-20" diameter, so you would want to use a 1/2-20" diameter lug nuts; while the hub is the industry standard 5 on 4.5 inch bolt pattern. Just add your Tires & Wheels along with some Lug Nuts and your trailer will be road-ready again in no time. The axle's 4 hole brake flange allows you to easily mount trailer brakes, such as a slip-on rotor style disc brake kit from Kodiak or DeeMaxx, or swapping out the pre-installed idler hubs for brake drums and hydraulic backing plates. This particular torsion axle is designed for Fresh or Saltwater, and is made to fit Trailer Frames that are 60 inches wide. This Hot-Dipped Galvanized Torsion Axle ships with galvanized Idler hubs installed. The hubs and bearings are pre-greased with a lithium-based grease, but additional grease may be added after installation.
