This 2 5/16 inch ball coupler is manufactured by Dexter Marine / Titan. It has a heavy duty 21,000lb towing capacity. The coupler is zinc plated to help prevent rust. It will fit on a 3 inch wide trailer tongue. This coupler is typically used on boat trailers that have either 2 or 3 7,000lb capacity axles and do not have brakes, or are running an electric over hydraulic unit instead of surge brakes. It is very easy to install, it uses the same exact bolt pattern as the Dexter Marine / Titan model 6 hydraulic surge coupler. This is a Bolt on Trailer Tongue Coupler that Bolts on a 3 inch Trailer Tongue using 1/2 inch Diameter Bolts.
