This Clevis Latch Hook is made of Heavy Duty Forged Steel, and is Additionally Zinc Plated for Corrosion Protection and added Durability. The 5/16” Clevis Hook can be easily installed to your winch strap by simply removing the Cotter Key from the Installation Pin, sliding the installation pin through your winch strap and the Clevis hook, and reinstalling the Cotter Key.
The Flat Latch of this Winch Hook is Spring Loaded, which helps to prevent the hook from accidentally being removed. This Cable Hook has a 4,700lb Safe Working Load, and is typically used on Winches in the 2,000 lb – 3,500lb Capacity.
