This Ram 1600 lb capacity boat trailer winch comes pre-assembled and ready to mount with a 23-foot winch strap and rust-resistant zinc plating. This winch has all the features you would expect from a good watercraft winch, including a corrosion-resistant zinc finish, thumb latch for locking the winch gears, and a preinstalled strap with a forged yellow zinc safety latch hook. The finish is suitable for freshwater and saltwater environments alike, and the heavy-duty one-piece gear will increase the winch's longevity. The winch also comes with a 10 1/2 inch handle with a large comfort grip, so you can comfortably and easily crank in and out your boat when you are trailering. If you need the hardware to mount the winch to your boat trailer's winch seat, you will need two Stainless Steel Winch Stand Mounting Bolts. If you want to ensure the winch will last the maximum amount of time, you will want to consider using some anti-corrosion spray on the gears and body of the winch and its moving parts, just to ensure that the finish maintains its ability to resist rust.
