This Hot Dipped Galvanized Boat Trailer V-guide on will help guide the bow of your boat to center up on your trailer. Rough Width from tip to tip is 42 inches. Made out of 1/8 inch thick galvanized steel- sleeved with 2 inch Pvc and caps- this v-guide will save you time when loading your boat on your trailer. The v- guide will attach to your trailers cross-members by using a hat bracket and two U-bolts. Use either the 2 inch Galvanized Boat Trailer Hat Bracket or the 2 inch Aluminum Boat Trailer Hat Bracket. Typically these mount on 3 inch by 3 inch Cross Beams towards the cross of the boat trailer. In that case, the correct size U-Bolt is a 1/2 inch by 3 inch by 4 5/16 inch, found here Boat Trailer U-Bolts.

Great product
This product replaced the original V-guide on my trailer and this new one is more stout and heavier duty than the old one, I am very pleased with the product and the price as this one was $20-$30 cheaper and it arrived home quick.
