This durable corrosion-resistant Stainless Steel boat Trailer Leaf Spring U-Bolt kit is designed for 2" x 2" axles, and includes includes 4 13/16" long U-Bolts and Stainless Steel Flanged Hex Nuts for secure fastening. This U-bolt kit is ideal for axle assemblies with normal to slightly thicker leaf springs, while the flange-style nuts eliminate the need for separate flat and lock washers, streamlining installation. Constructed from Stainless Steel, these U-Bolts are particularly well-suited for saltwater boat trailers due to their resistance to rust and corrosion. If you have a larger 2" x 3" axle or a 2x2 axle with exceptionally thick leaf springs, we also carry this same style kit with 6 5/16" long U-Bolts.

The kit includes (4) 1/2 x 2 x 4 13/16 inch square Stainless Steel U-Bolts, (2) stainless steel 4 Hole Mounting Plates, and (8) Stainless Steel Flange Nuts. This is an excellent replacement kit for boat trailer repairs as well as when installing new axles or rebuilding trailer suspension components like leaf springs, equalizer bars, and hangers.

Choosing stainless steel U-bolts prevents rust issues common with raw steel, zinc-plated, or corroded galvanized steel bolts, ultimately saving you money and time on future replacements. To maximize the lifespan and reliability of your U-Bolts, apply a lithium or graphite-based lubricant during installation to prevent galling or threading problems. Hand tools only should be used when tightening U-bolts, and proper threading is essential; avoid using power tools, over-tightening, or tightening too quickly to prevent galling or sticking.
