This Trailer Short Hub Features a full end-to-end measurement of 3 1/2 inches. The interior of the hub measures 2 1/2 inches from outside of race to outside of race. Trailer Short Hubs are designed for Axles with a Short Spindle, and are less common nowadays than the more standardized measurement of 4 1/4 inches. Some Boat Trailers still run with the Short Style Trailer Hub so we offer this kit which includes 1 inch Bearings (L44643) and Seals as a direct replacement for those found on the older style of axles.

The Grease seals included in this kit are a 1 1/4" Inner Diameter Seal and a 1 1/2" Inner Diameter Grease Seal. You will only use one of these Sizes on your Axles Spindle. We include both for customer convenience, as sometimes it is very difficult to know which is needed. Test Fit both on your trailers spindle, and discard the one that will not fit. Only one Grease seal is used per hub.
