This boat trailer safety chain measures 35 inches in length with a 26,000 lb minimum break force rating. The grade 70 chain has links that measure 3/8 inches in thickness, and include a Clevis Hook with Spring Latch so you can easily attach them to your truck or tow vehicle. The chain portion of the chain is either bolted or welded directly to the trailer, and the Clevis Hook will attach to your truck's tow hitch. The chain has a corrosion-resistant zinc-plated finish, so it is a great option for boat trailers, jet ski trailers, or land trailers. Having safety chains in good working condition is imperative for any trailer; they are legally required and can prevent disasters for yourself and others out on the road. Each chain should be rated at or above the total weight of your loaded trailer, and you will generally use a pair when towing. Pick up a pair of these chains if you need to replace an old set on your single or tandem axle boat trailer!
