This is a replacement PVC Guide Pole, made to slip over a new or existing Galvanized or Aluminum Guide Post to protect the Gunwale of your Boat or Jet Ski from rubbing directly on the raw metal and damaging your boat. This Guide Cover has an over-all length of 40 3/4 Inches, is 2 Inches in diameter, and is made from 2 Inch Schedule 40 PVC. To install, simply remove your old PVC, and slide your new Guide Cover over your existing Pole. If you find that your Cover wants to float up after installation due to trapped air, you can use a Stainless Steel Self Taper to secure the PVC to the Metal Post, or by drilling a small hole in your cap to release the air as you back your trailer into the water. Additionally, Soft Guide Pole Covers can be used for added protection for your boat!

A great additional to these Guide Poles are Guide Pole Lights, that are installed at the top of your SCH 40 PVC Guides. These can be purchased in either Incandescent, or LED options. LED can be purchased with, or without Side Markers. This listing is for the SCH 40 PVC only, and does not include a Cap.
