On your Single Axle Boat Trailer, the Leaf Spring Shackles are located towards the rear, two per side, giving you a total of four. On a tandem axle suspension, they are located in the center, connecting your leaf spring to your equalizer bar, there are four per side, for a total of eight on a tandem axle boat trailer suspension.
