This is a Hot-Dipped Galvanized Leaf Spring Shackle Link for Boat Trailer Double Eye Leaf Spring Suspensions. You will see these spring shackles on both single axle and tandem axle set ups. On your Single Axle Boat Trailer, the Leaf Spring Shackles are located towards the rear, two per side, giving you a total of four. On a tandem axle suspension, they are located in the center, connecting your leaf spring to your equalizer bar, there are four per side, for a total of eight on a tandem axle boat trailer suspension. This Spring Shackle is for use with 1/2 inch diameter leaf spring bolts. This is the most common Galvanized Leaf Spring Shackle Size for Boat Trailers with Single or Tandem Axles.

4 inches total Length

2 1/2 inches Center Hole to Center hole

With 1/2 inch Diameter Holes

Extremely quick shipping. Great product. Bought a boat and the trailer was missing u-bolts on the outside corners of the fenders. These worked perfectly. I used the Galvanized Square Ubolt 1/2 inch x 2 1/16 inch x 6 5/16 inch (# 100425) with these.

Boat Trailer Shackle Link

I'm using this hot-dipped galvanized steel shackle link as a backing plate for a 1/2" diameter, 2 1/16" wide (inside dimension) square u bolt (part 100425) to secure a double deck, customized boat rack to the frame of a small boat trailer.
