Due to high demand we have made the common Swivel Top style bunk bracket now available in ALL ALUMINUM! This is the 10 inch tall version. With the swivel top connected with the included Stainless Steel 1/2" x 1 1/4" Bolt, the overall length of this assembly is 10 3/4". The adjustment height depends upon your specific needs. There are obvious advantages of this assembly over the traditional galvanized bracket. Now with an Aluminum Support, and Aluminum swivel bracket, rust is a thing of the past. We include in this kit the 1/2" x 1 1/4" Stainless steel mounting bolt and a PAIR of Stainless Steel Bunk Board mounting lag screws. This style of bunk bracket is seen mounted to a trailers cross member. The cross member is the frame piece that connects one side of your trailer to the other. Typically you will have 2 to 3 of these on your trailer. This bunk bracket is mounted to your trailers frame with a U-Bolt in most cases. The Size U-Bolt needed to mount this item depends upon the width and height of your frame. For Boat Trailer U-Bolts, it is ideal to get the best fit for your frame to be sure you achieve the desired height. You will see in the pictures that this bracket uses 1/2" slotted holes to accommodate the U-Bolt. You will need a 1/2" diameter U-Bolt to snugly mount to your trailers cross-member. The slotted holes allow for vertical adjustment to make it ideal for your boats current riding level.
You will normally be mounting a 2 x 4 or 2 x 6 carpeted bunk support to this bracket. The included SS Lag Screws are the ideal length for this.
The solid Aluminum Construction will outfit all types and sizes of trailers that were previously using the same style bracket.
