This Leaf Spring Seat features a Weld-On design, welding is critical to the use of this product, as it keeps the axle locked to the Trailer Leaf Springs and prevents it from Rotating during trailering.

Spring Seats, also called Leaf Spring Mounts or Perches, are used on all types of Trailer axles. This Spring mount is designed to be used with a 3 inch diameter Round Axle, which are typically rated around 6,000lbs to 7,000lbs Capacity. Most trailer axles Feature a Camber, or and Arc, and are not manufactured perfectly straight. The Arc is to be positioned upwards, and straightens out when the axle and trailer are under load. It's important to keep this in mind when installing new Trailer Leaf Spring Mounts, because the location of the Spring Perches and the Camber will determine whether the Axle installs on top of or below the trailer leaf springs.
