This 3 leaf black painted trailer slipper spring has a 1,720 lb rating per spring (3,480 lb capacity for a pair), making these springs perfect for single axle boat trailers or jet ski trailers with 5 lug 3,500 pound axles. Trailer slipper springs are commonly seen on both high weight capacity heavy duty trailers, as well as smaller single axle trailer setups; they feature a simple design that has the spring bolted through the eye on a forward mounted hanger bracket, while the flat portion will slip into a smaller rear mounted retaining bracket. This spring measures 25 inches from center of the eye to the end of the slipper portion of the spring, so make sure you are measuring the springs that you are replacing to confirm that they will work for you. Keep in mind that as springs age and flatten from usage that they can measure longer than their original size, so you might have a 25 1/2 to 26 inch spring that could be compatible with this leaf spring.
These slipper springs can be used on both square galvanized or round painted tube trailer axles on boat trailers, jet ski trailers, enclosed trailers, or utility trailers.
