This is a high-quality stainless steel 1.98 dust cap with a yellow silicone plug, sized to fit 4 lug and 5 lug boat trailer and utility trailer axles with greaseable spindles. These Dust Caps are used with axles commonly referred to as Posi-Lube, EZ Lube, or Accu-Lube Axles that feature a Grease Fitting at the tip of the Axle Spindle. The Stainless Steel Housing and Silicone Plug allow this Dust Cap to perform as needed without the worry of Dry Rot or Rust. The Dust Cap measures 1.98", so this Dust Cap to fits MOST 4, or 5 Lug Hubs. These Dust Caps are designed to be driven, or tapped into the hub, which allows for a tight, secure fitment. These Stainless Steel Dust Caps with Silicone Plug are designed to fit tight, so the use of a Hammer or Mini Sledge, and a 1.98 Trailer Dust Cap installation Tool is highly recommended.
